How I became a dog trainer

“I have spent years working in the canine industry. From dog walking, show handling training, working for multiple doggy daycare facilities, grooming, working for trainers with different methods from positive only to balanced training. Running and building a doggy daycare for over 2 years and offering training for 5+ years.

With the help and guidance from my mentor Evan Doggett with Doggett Style Dog Training it has been a great middle ground for all my experience to be combined and to take the best and most successful strategies of what I have learned to provide you with a one stop shop. I have had the years of experience, learned hands on, continue my education and knowledge, so you don’t have to.

No more Google and YouTube worm holes for you to go down. Work with me and I will help you get 100% control of your dog, improve your relationship and cultivate a unique training plan for you! I can’t wait to get started. ”

Why did I become a dog trainer?

At a young age I was diagnosed with learning disabilities from a speech impediment to discaliculia. Both of which affected my ability to learn. My parents enrolled me in a program called “reading to paws” which was a program of which children would read books to registered Therapy Dogs. My love of dogs helped my ability to learn and grow confidence. I soon learned about my passion for animals. Fast forward years late I work professionally training dogs helping them and their families. With 5+ years working in the canine industry 2 years experience teaching therapeutic horse back riding lessons this makes me a great fit to help you and your family pet.
